My guest is John Jackson, a former trial lawyer who spent time in Ukraine around Izyum, Kramatorsk and Kherson, and was there when the Kakhovka dam was blown. He describes working with international volunteers and what he saw of Ukrainian society.
John says that on Capitol Hill he came across Russian Orthodox priests at an event tied to the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR), which he says was lobbying on religious liberty in Ukraine. He also describes his video series on Ubiquiti, an American communications equipment maker whose gear he says Russian forces use, and how to report suspected export control violations.
We also discuss religion in Ukraine and Russia, accountability for corporations, Venezuela and Iran, and the guest lineup for the week.
