I am so grateful to Ukrainians and to our wonderful city of Kyiv.
I have been here since January 2022 and have never left. Through air raids, blackouts, victories, losses, and everything in between, this city has become my home.
Today, on Kyiv Day, I want to say thank you. Thank you for your friendship, your resilience, your courage, and your kindness. Thank you for welcoming me into your lives and allowing me to share your stories with the world.
This is our home, and I am grateful to be here with you.
